A number of Hollywood stars, including Jamie Foxx, Bill Cosby, and Cuba Gooding Jr., have been accused of sexual abuse as survivors rush to file lawsuits before the New York Adult Survivors Act expires.

In one case, Jamie Foxx is accused of sexually assaulting a woman named 'Jane Doe' in 2015 at a New York restaurant. The plaintiff claims Foxx was intoxicated when he assaulted her in a back area of the rooftop lounge.

Foxx's representative denies the allegations, stating that a similar case was filed in 2020 and dismissed. They intend to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against the plaintiff and her attorneys.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has also been named in allegations, which his camp vehemently denies.

In addition to Foxx, other celebrities named in the explosive lawsuits include Axl Rose and Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Axl Rose is accused of violently sexually assaulting a former model in 1989. The model claims Rose used his fame and power to gain access to manipulate and control her before assaulting her.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs settled a lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend Cassie, who accused him of over a decade of violent behavior and abuse. Combs and Cassie agreed to resolve the matter amicably.

Another accuser, Sheila Kennedy, accused Axl Rose of sexual assault, while two more women came forward with claims against Sean 'Diddy' Combs prior to the expiration of the law.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is also facing a new lawsuit stemming from a 2019 incident in which a woman claims he grabbed her breast at a New York rooftop bar.

Bill Cosby faces new lawsuits by Joan Tarshis and Kathrine McKee, who accuse him of sexual assault in separate incidents from the 1970s. Earlier this summer, 10 women came forward with new claims against Cosby.

Julia Ormond has filed a lawsuit accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault and claiming that Miramax and Disney knew he was a danger to women.

Steven Tyler and Russell Brand are also named in accusations under the law.

Claims filed under the New York Adult Survivors Act rushed in just before the critical filing deadline, creating a rapid influx of lawsuits.

Legal experts state that this should be the end of the line for New York suits, as claimants had the opportunity to sue under the earlier version of the law, which has now expired.
