Too many American veterans, after they've served their country with great dedication and purpose, have suffered from enormous pain.

Their burdens are physical, mental, emotional, and psychological — and their loved ones feel the pain, too.

The burdens include PTSD.

Tom and Jen Satterly started the St. Louis-based All Secure Foundation to help other veterans and their families through the 'injury' of PTSD.

Tom Satterly, a highly decorated combat veteran, portrayed in the Oscar-winning 2001 film 'Black Hawk Down,' is on a mission to help struggling veterans.

He encourages them to seek help without delay, as waiting only prolongs the suffering.

PTSD is an injury that won't heal on its own, and waiting too long only makes it worse.

Eric and Sandra Ballester, a couple from Arizona, found solace and support in All Secure Foundation.

Eric Ballester, a 100% disabled veteran and small business owner, served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years.

Recognizing the toll of war on his mental and physical well-being, he sought guidance from All Secure Foundation.

Sandra Ballester, his wife, experienced the challenges of her husband's multiple deployments and later realized she was battling depression herself.

Their son was greatly affected, and Sandra's strength to hold it together for him was tested.

Together, Eric and Sandra found hope and help through the Satterlys' organization.

All Secure Foundation provided them with camaraderie, counseling, understanding, and a path towards healing.

They found comfort in the fact that they were not alone in their struggles.

The Ballesters encourage others facing similar challenges not to hesitate in seeking help and support.
