Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley attributes her rising prospects in the 2024 Republican presidential race to her commitment to speaking the 'hard truths.' As a Republican candidate, Haley strongly criticized President Biden for sending several cabinet members on trips to China, characterizing it as 'embarrassing' for the United States.

In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on 'State of the Union' Sunday, Haley highlighted China's long-standing preparation for war against the US. She pointed out that China's actions have resulted in the deaths of more Americans than the combined toll of the Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam wars. Haley emphasized China's role in the fentanyl epidemic gripping the country, as the adversary had been sending the lethal drug over to the US.

Expressing her dismay, Haley questioned Biden's decision to send cabinet members to China in an attempt to improve relations. She stressed the need for the US to address China seriously rather than aiming to appease them. Haley pointed out that China has acquired over 400,000 acres of land on American soil, engaged in the theft of billions worth of US intellectual property, and deployed Chinese-made drones for surveillance purposes by American law enforcement agencies.

Drawing attention to the significant infiltration of Chinese products in the US, Haley referred to the prevalence of Chinese-made law enforcement drones, stating that ninety percent of such drones are of Chinese origin. She also referred to the Chinese spy balloon incident that sparked concern among Americans, urging readers to imagine the implications of widespread surveillance by these 'spy balloons.'

To counter China's menacing influence, Haley outlined a series of strong measures. She called for a halt to Chinese land acquisition in the US and for reclaiming previously purchased land. Haley also emphasized the need for American universities to pick between Chinese money and American money, thereby discouraging Chinese infiltration into educational institutions. Additionally, she advocated for severing normal trade relations with China until they cease flooding the US with deadly fentanyl. Furthermore, Haley stressed the importance of bolstering the US military, considering China's current status as the possessor of the world's most potent naval fleet.

In conclusion, Haley's critique of President Biden's approach to China resonates with her ongoing pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination. Arguing for a more robust stance against the rising adversary, Haley's position highlights the urgency of acknowledging the threats posed by China and taking decisive action to protect American interests.
