An illegal immigrant man has been arrested for the shooting death of two sisters in their home in Dallas last week, while he also allegedly shot his daughter during the same incident.
Jose Santiago Chairez, 50, has been booked into the Dallas County Jail, facing charges of capital murder and aggravated assault.
Chairez is accused of shooting sisters Catalina Valdez Andrade, 47, and Merced Andrade Bailon, 43, in the head inside their home in Farmers Branch on November 24th at around 4:20 a.m.
The incident occurred in a city located about 11 miles north of Downtown Dallas.
Chairez's daughter, who was also present at the home, was shot in the arm according to a police report.
She informed the officers that it was her father who shot her and the sisters.
Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the deadly shooting.
They are also investigating the nature of the relationship between Chairez and the victims, as well as the reason why Chairez's daughter was in their home at the time.
Chairez is currently being held in custody with a bond of over $2 million and an immigration hold preventing his release.
