North Korean media has strongly refuted claims by military experts that weapons manufactured in their country have been used by Hamas during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.

The Korean Central News Agency, a state-affiliated news outlet, published a resolute denial of the allegations, labeling them as 'groundless and false rumors'.

In an article written by North Korean international affairs commentator Ri Kwang-song, the piece condemned what it called 'the U.S. administration's reptile press bodies and quasi-experts' for spreading unfounded claims about North Korea's weapons being used in the attacks on Israel.

According to the article, this speculation is merely an attempt to divert blame from the crisis in the Middle East caused by the wrong hegemonic policies of another country, 'the empire of evil'.

Experts had previously raised concerns about North Korean weapons, including F-7 rocket-propelled grenades, allegedly being in the possession of Hamas terrorists.

Despite maintaining diplomatic relations with Palestinian leaders since 1966, North Korea does not recognize Israel.

Instead, in 1988, it acknowledged the Palestinian authorities as the legitimate government of all Israeli territories.

Previously, North Korea had expressed support for Hamas in the wake of the initial terrorist attacks, stating that a large-scale armed conflict had occurred between Hamas and Israel.

The Rodong Sinmun, a state-affiliated news outlet run by the Workers' Party of North Korea, reported that the international community blames the conflict on Israel's continuous criminal actions against the Palestinian people.
